Thought more ppl would see it here than in the 'other manufacturers' forum.

some competition for the P800 maybe with the Paragon II. I'd like to see POcket Pc and an aerial, personally, for USA.

This is an evolved version of the WCDMA A820 that Hutchison should have out by october.

Same phone, different design?

Integrated camera? check the weight.. very impressive.

Another dual mode W-CDMA phone

According to some german forum www.telefon-treff.de , their will be an upgrade for about 75-99 euros for T720 owners, which will include a digicam, and give the phone MMS and a photo album, but will take away voicenotes, reduce calendar entries, and phonebook entries from 500 to 100.

Entry level phone, there had to be one for all those 10 year olds out there (who will probably be buying the 'paragon' instead!)

I'm sure this phone will have a competitive price, if only because it has a slightly lower spec than the V600

This is the most impressive for me, and when they say reversed display, i think they mean something like the original V70 screen on the outside, like th F504i from Fujitsu

Remember everyone, this is from Motorola, a manufacturer that I'm sure nobody on this board rates very highly, and they have covered every demographic with new handsets using ALL available new technology.
Imagine what SE are going to have to do to at CeBit to get back in the game next year..

Looks really nice... I didn't expect these phones to come from Motorla... By the way the V600 is the P-E-R-F-E-C-T phone... Has everything...

When are you going to learn. Most of those are set to be launched in the later half of 2003. I don't think they would release that information so far in advance; this is like ericsson announcing P800 in july 2001. And I'll have you reminded that ericsson had working communicators much like p800 in 2000 that were not produced.

I would guess most of those are concepts or proposals and NOT actual products that are BEING launched. So I would deem the probability that some of them are going to be cancelled rather high.

What I found most interesting were the wcdma phones.

Just wait till 3G and UMTS hits off. All this just gives us a little taste of what 3G had to offer when its introduced.
