I am sure every P800 owner wld love to hv FULL episodes on their phone..
it wld keep u busy during thos boring class hours...
if someone has n e that are at a decent quality, post a message and we will discuss where to put em, etc...

Would you need quite a huge Memory Stick Duo to have a full episode?
I guess it would be quite large even if the screen size is small & has very large compression. |

well, 2mins and some is around 950k..
so (21/2)*955 = 10mb
we hv a 16mb card..
thus it is not impossible

Cool. I wish I had the hardware/software to make clips like that. My Memory Stick will be full of MP3s. I will needs to buy one about 128MB when they come out. I can;t wait for the P800 on mmO2 in the UK. |

? What? That has to be some bad quality video clips then... I have a 10,5Mb clip which is 7min long. My guess is that with a relatively decent quality 22min Simpsons episode, the size would be between 30-40Mb big..
Ahh, can't wait for those 128Mb Duos....!!

well, I hv a pretty decent simpsons episode of 2mins long (apple picking episode) and the file is 950k or so...
so say it is 21 minutes right?
21/2 becuz we know how big a 2min file is approx
( 21/2 ) * 1mb = 10500kb..
we hv 16mb cards..
it's doable..
give or take a meg or 2
it can be sparred... and u still got place for a mp3...
someone on this board said he had futurama episodes at decent quality.. but I dont remember who it was..

You can have very good quality watchable simpsons at 950kb per min.
I havn`t seen any 2mins =1mb only 1min = 1mb.
Reasonable music vid seems to be around 40 seconds = 1mb
It seems that at least 150mb would be needed for a feature film of 100 mins length.(& a good battery).
(And yes i do know 128mb is the planned max)

I think @skjalg has made a couple of Futurama episodes..
Anyway, I haven't seen one decent quality video clip where the minutes actually exceeds the Mb's. If I download a 1Mb porn clip it's usually 40-50 seconds long...
Where did you find these clips you're talking about? Did you make them yourself?
