Find your songs, plug in the notes to your RingTone Converter!! Convert it to RTTL. Launch your Melody Composer and import your RTTL and there you go!! Your favourite Nokia RingTones in your T68i!!
Btw, if given a .imy notes, copy it, launch your notepad, paste it, select *all files, and save as xxx.imy
now again! you have your favourite .imy without the need of asking ppl to send you through sms enjoy!

when u convert it, select RTTTL/Nokring on your left, Select Raw Code and choose show ringtone type. then it will launch a list of tones, copy the notes that you want, and paste it into a notepad then save it. btw just simply save a name as it doesnt effect anything. launch your melody composer and then press import, then copy the notes that u have saved and paste it. then just press import and you shopuld have your ring tones converted

I saved the code in notepad as u said. But as i told u my porblem is that is that wen i search 4 the file saved by me in the melody colmposer, it doesnt show any files? IT just shows the FOLDERS! e.g in my C:\ i have a windows folder etc... it shows only the windows folder and no other files, so i cant import any file until it displays it there! |

the only software so far that i have used is the melody composer, actually i do not know why you want to open the file. you do not need to open the file to load it in the melody compsoer, you just need to copy it (highlight your notes, right click your mouse and copy it!) then just press import and choose RTTTL then go to the import pad and press CTRL+V thats all it is in the pad and u can now import it. I did not say that u need to import it by searching your files, it is not neccessary. Again, just copy the file and paste it in the import pad.

Can it be possible to convert any format of nokia ringtones in to y68i keypress format?

no idea why is it that u cant get the output, the melody composer can give several outputs including keypress for t68i.

btw you do not need the phone to be connected, did you really follow all the steps? coz if you export the ring tones to RTTL, make sure you choose the right format otherwise it wont recognize try it by trial and error should get it done.

ok lets do it step by step.....
1) launch ringtone converter
2) launch notepad and paste your keypress/composer/RTTTL notes
3) save your notepad and set your tempo in your converter
4) select the original ring tone at 1.
5) select file on this computer and get file
6) choose All files at type of files instead of *.key
7) notes will be loaded, select display as RTTTL/Nokring
press export list
9) Select RTTTL/Nokring (only)
10) choose Raw code list and tick the box at the bottom
11) list of tones will be launched
12) copy your notes and paste it in your another notepad
13) launch melody composer
14) go settings -> format -> imelody
15) press import
16) select RTTTL
17) paste your copied notes in the composer pad
18) import the melody
19) u can now either choose save as .imy or export it to any format as u desired (those provided by the composer only)

Did all the steps as u said.
Reached step 17, where i copy my RTTL codes from notepad. I go 2 import pad and press import. When i press import the import pad goes off, so at 1st i assumed its done, nut it wasnt to be. Wen it came to saving i pressed save as.... it said " nothing to save"
Where did i go wrong now!! |
