in t68 manual it says u can change the text format, style and create new paragraphs in a text message but when i check the real unit there is no menu available for text format? is it network provided feature? but it doesn't indicate on the manual.

You can change the size of the text that is used on screen, as far as I know this only applies to what you see.
Not sure about the text style not found any reference to that.
You can create a new paragraph or a new line, I can not remember exactly how, came across it by accident and it was not while using T9. Will have a look when I can and try to be of more help.

HTH a little

Please note that the manual is for version R1A. From R1B up, that feature together with the capability to edit Line text (for Line 1, Line 2) was removed.

In the T39 you can create a new paragraph in a text by holding down * to change input from T9 to English, then pressing # 3 times. You then hold down * again to get back to T9 input. I'm sure there's a shorter way, but I havn't found it yet!

No, it doesn't. The feature mentioned is a part of MMS, which is incorporated in the new software for T68 that is expected in Q1 2002, maybe earlier. Read more about type change a.s.o here :
http://www.ericsson.com/ems/style.shtml

One can also say that it is partially a network dependent feature since the networks have to have MMS support.
