Help! I've got a serious problem with my T300! I noticed it about an hour ago... when I press my joystick to the right, it has the same effect as pressing it! I even tried to press it really softly to the right to make sure I didn't accidently _push_ it, but it still happens...

HELP!

I think thats suppost to happen, at standby when I press my right button, it loads the menu? Also, if you want to use the call contact function on the right push, you have to push and hold the button? Correct me if im wrong!

My girlfriend has a t300 as well and she told me that whenever she presses the faceplate, it would somehow hit the joystick down. Try to remove the faceplate and try hitting the joystick to the right with the faceplate off. If that doesn't work, take the phone apart. :-D It's my first wireless post from the t68i. :-)

It seems to go a bit better today. However, the problem is still there. I'm typing this message without my faceplate attached, but it doesn't help much... :-(

So if the problem persist, sent it to se service point. You must take the price of being without your lovely T300 if you want it repaired. I know it is hard, but you can do it. Trust me. :-D :-D :-D

Hmmmm... isn't that what it should happen? On my T610, when I push the joystick right it has the same effect as pressing it down (click). This was also the case on my T68i. Nothing strange there.

pushing it DOWN will also bring you into the menu. so it is the same effect. right?

absolutely right. but my problem is that *joystick right* almost always gives the same effect as pushing it (image this while replying to an sms... yeah it sucks!)
