...with MS Outlook is not possible at the moment. The only thing Apple users can use the new Ericsson mobile phones for is as a modem.

That is not Sony Ericssons fault. It is the Extended Systems that make the sync software.
If someone wanna help me put some pressure on them, please email info@extendedsys.com and ask them why they do not make sync software for Apple Macintosh.

Note! You can't use the T68 as a modem, no driver has been made yet!

No macintosh driver has been made for T68, but it works using the T39 driver. Have tried it.

shut up
I use TiBook G4 400 with 10.1.2 and T68 and I have good satisfaction with GPRS connection.
However, there is no solution for complete phone backup yet. For X there is nothing and for 9 i can suggest you GSM Remote, http://www.traud.de/gsm/remote/
In next release it should support extended phonebook on your T68

You know, the guys that haven't discovered Macintosh haven't discovered the Right Path
But just to give PC some credit i must say that PC is best for multi purpose usage.Gaming i s also best on PC.
But if you really wanna get into movie editing, sound and 2D graphics, you are better off with Mac no matter what people say. I've tried them both.

But it is a damn shame that Amiga doesn't get the cred it deserve...

I don't want to make any flame wars here..
Actually I use Mac for more than 10 years. Yes, it is not a main stream. But I think it's much better than a PC. I use computer for work - computer graphic, video and office tasks, not much games. When I compare it with PC, my Mac is much more stable and more logical.

Of course, I should have a Compaq notebook and Nokia phone too... but my PowerBook G4 and Ericsson T68 is better choice for me.

I started out with windows/pc, and I cant really say I'm impressed by the Mac. I dont like the interface/system.
Allthough the Powerbooks are nice.

I work with 2d,3d design and I'm a webdesigner.

Arthur : I think it also has a lot to do with, what you are used to.
For example, a lot of the "Desktop Publishing-people" that I know, started out on MAC,..and they love it.
The "web-people" would go for a windows-based pc.

Happy newyear

MacOSX 10.2, iSync, t68i and the D-Link bluetooth adapter works like a charm. Synching is easy, and iSync is free from Apple.

I myself used Macs in grade school in Canada, them PCs in high school and college, and for finance at work. But im going back to Macs. Software is there if you look for it. Games are not too far behind, now with that new software company making DirectX for Mac. Also more features for the advanced user in IE and Office on Mac.
