PICTURE QUALITY

ive been thinking about the Z 600 too. so i've don a little bit of research myself. here is what ive found:

-price: +520usd (ebay)

-box comes with 2 faceplates stripes and purple

-Ringers are LOUD

-"The sound quality is aboslutely excellent" "audio was completely clear, not too much treble, not too much bass"

-flip is active, you can answer and end calls by open/closing the flip.flip opens and closes with a "click" and there is a little resistance when opening or closing, this is good though, you feel as though the thing won't fall apart, or fall off.

-The keys are backlit, and well spaced. The navigation arrows and enter key are a little cramped, but not something you can't get used to. Volume keys are a bit hard to locate by touch, but I imagine one can get used to finding them after a little use

-multiple msg tones, 7 or 8

-The S100 comes closest as it's the most like the Z600 in terms of shape alone (i also heard it was as thick as a P800)

-no ascending ringtones (the option "normal" works)

-memory allocation problem may have been worked out(?) large photo=18kb on phone

-wap is seems slower compared to the t68i probably due to colour screen, the buttons are very responsive and easy on the fingers.

-texting is average, overall speed is average same as the T610 but lot faster than the T68i

-RF:

today i went to one spot where i usually have no bars and hence no service with all my previous phones (3650 i had 1 bar and staticky conversation); well with the z600 i had no bars but a clean normal conversation when i asked the caller to call me back in a couple of mins, i still had no bars but it RANG and as previously a normal conversation (i never did this test with the P800 because i hated that phone )[

I don't think its a touch choice really... you either want the clam version or you want the candy bar version. But that question has already been discussed at great length here and my choice is to stick with the T610

well if it was me and I wanted both, I would buy both
if you cannto afford both then there must be one deciding factor for you to get one rather than the other because they are different styles and one must surely be more pleasing for your, or you want the better screen. either way if you cannot have both you need to make a choice somehow

can't afford both just bought a laptop,

t610 pros: small, same style as my lappy,
t610 cons: poor screen, small buttons, older model

z600 pros: bright screen, big buttons, personalization
z600 cons: overall size, weight

this is what i can think of on the spur of the moment

I have seen conflicting specs for the phone. Does it have a speaker phone?

i thought i saw somewhere that the z600 had a speakerphone (selling point for me) but the actual phone did not have a speakerphone option. it does have a "speaker on the phone" though. lol
