Just got this text message from Orange.

Orange safety message. There may be a fault with your Sony Ericsson phone charger. If it is made by Delta stop using the charger and call 08000790151

Yes, I got that as well.
Seems to me if it was urgent enough they should be writing to all users - at the least slipping a warning note in with the monthly bills.

That would cost to much and not everyone would get the message at the same time as not all customers have the same billing date.

I got a message yesterday from Nokia but I'm sure we don't need to keep creating new threads for the same topic... we now have 4 threads for this...

its interesting that although I got one from vodafone UK I did not get one from my other carriers... O2 in germany or Telstra in Aus. I wonder if the faulty ones were not delivered to these countries?

masseur, as discussed be4 in the longest thread, ONLY 3 pin UK chargers are effected. The whole batch has been shipped to the UK and distributed there. Nowhere else.

At the charger is wrote: standard charger CST-13 BML 162 099/1 R1A TYPE4020077-BV Model: NADP-2EB A Made in Thailand by Delta 02W51 Is this one of them? My friend has it too, but we don't care and are awaiting exploding to maybe get a new phone. :-D :-D :-D

didn't you know payg customers are second rate citizens? their lives meaningless, only to support the more powerful contract classes? so what if a few of them bite the bullet... there are plenty more of them out there will do the same work for less!

oops i think i said too much
