It resizes any photos anyway. Doesn't matter what size it is, it allways looks the same.

I made a little test... I created images of a red rectangle 1 pixel thick on a white background. Then I started to send images to my phone, set it to caller ID and... make a call. Every pic was 2 pixels bigger. When I noticed that the whole rectangular (or one of the sides) wasn't shown on the screen - I was able to tell the size of caller ID image....
...and...
it's 101 (width) x 110 (height)
I guarantee.
One more thing... Pictures aren't being resized. They are allways cropped to 101x110 size.

@itl:
You got your width and height round the wrong way.
It's actually 110px wide x 101px high!!
Here's an image the correct size and showing where the top of the icon and 2 lines of text appears (in case you don't want the text to appear over someones face!)

Yes. You're right. It's 110x101. Made a mistake, but only here. All my callerID pic's are 110x101. |

What I want is for the image to perfectly and evenly fill the inner portion of the box...I dont care if the text will cover part of the image. So if this is what you guys want, its 112x112.

So, is it 110x101 or 112x112? |

Try it for yourself and see that it is 110 x 101
If you transfer the pictures below to your phone, set them to a contact and get a call from that contact, you see that the 1 pixel red line is visible all the way round the 110 x 101 sized picture. But, the red line is cropped off completely on the 112 x 112 picture.
Any bigger than 110 x 101 and the red line is cropped off.

If you use the SonyEricsson Image Editor then you can resize a picture exactly fit for your window.
Just try it it's the easiest way to do |

When I transfered a picture that the phone (T610) said was 29kb to my computer, the computer said it was only 5,69kb. Why, something wrong with my phone? |

It's normal. The phone stores the pictures in uncompressed format for faster performance. Try the Esato search for more info...
