smaller than T610, better screen, 9 Mb of memory, VGA camera, but not bluetooth however...

From my experience Samsung phones have terrible call quality. They may look nice but the main reason for buying a mobile phone is to make and receieve calls. I'd go for the  T610. It rocks

i think that the E700 is a very nice phone[design] with great ideas[to take the outer display as searcher usw.] - but the talk time, 3 hours, and the fact that it doesn't has bluetooth makes the T610 win.
have you seen the X600, STN display and 3,5 hours talk time and also no bluetooth - but a flash... |

Well I've tried a few of the newer Samsungs, and although they look ok, and the screen and sound is pretty good, the phone software is crap, hmm.. let my rephrase that, it sucks bigtime.
That said they might have improved it but I doubt that. The phone felt so crippled and cumbersome to use. I find it hard to believe that Samsung is the third most selling phone brand in the world. |

No bluetooth, crap UI and crap customisable options = Samsung. I'd rather use a pay phone and go w/o if all phones were like the crap Samsung produce. |

You say better screen,only in sunlicht has the samsung better screen.
That's because T610 has a STN and the E700 has TFT. |

What's everybody got against Samsung? 
I've alwiz had very very good experiences with samsung phones...
Of course on the topic.. I'd pick the T610 (for bluetooth)

Well guys im gettin a samsung E700, u kno why? because i kno that if it breaks it wilkl be repaired within days by a reliable customer support service. If i get a T610 however and it breaks i will have to deal with sonys horrific customer service, then, even worse, celestica UKs! Sony ericsson phones are cheaply made and break too easily, and then they have crap customer support! which i know from experience.!

STOP DOING THIS !!! itīs making me mad  you allways compare SE T610 whit every new phone there is natural itīs not as good as all new phone in this case you took an new samsung phon there best new phone ..... well if itīs a new samsung the take a new SE and compare why not SE new finest phone p900

A friend of mine has a Samsung (V200). He took a picture with the camera and I asked him to send it to me via IrDA (I wanted to compare the screens). No can do. There is no option. Only via MMS. I took a picture with T610 and tried sending it to V200. Well you can guess... it can't be done. I tried sending a bussiness card. No-go. Tried it at home with laptop, siemens S55, iPAQ and another T610. They all acceppted the pic. Sorry, but Samsung software is crap! |

Yeah,since when is the t610 a clamshell,u should compare it with the z600 if any! :-D

you shouldn't coz it has a lot less features then the Z600.
why dun we compare it to the Z200 (no mms, no  no email etc)

yeah it is...... and has a nice cam too (and memory)
now.... if ONLY youi'dbe able to ir pics taken with that cam to another phone..... I could see it's uses...
but now...... what a shame. what a missed opportunity.
