I just found this site with new pictures of the P810/P900 or what ever and I had not seen them before. Mostly the one showing some kind of cover where the keypad was, much like the P800.

I remember a while ago, one of the people who originally posted about p810/900 made a big deal of the fact that the flip couldn't be removed

That phone fell out of the 'ugly-tree' and hit every branch on the way down! Yuchh!

naah... not *that* ugly, but will probably take a while to get used to . A lot of people didn't like the design of T610 either when the first pictures came out (including myself), but now most people think it looks fantastic.

after translating the site, i read at the top that it will come into stores at the end of october and is really called the p900. it also says that it has themes and 16 mb internal memory, and that it takes short videos with the communicorder. however, it also says that the camera is really only 640x480, and it does not have Wi-Fi.
i agree its not visually stunning, but it has a couple of good improvements . but as for me, im happy with my p800
thanks for the link tanquen
rocks

I love it. I think it looks much better than the p800. It has more class. and the keypad remains me of the nokia 8910i

yes this phone has more style than the p800 its very industrial in design but that is the only major diffrence between this phone and the p800. which isn't enought for me to purchase one, iam hoping that SE have a few smartphones in development at the moment |

Hi all-
I can’t believe some don’t like the P900 better than the P800 but to each their own. I love the feature set of the P800 and that is why I waited nine plus months for it to come out, certainly not because of the esthetics. To me the P800 looks like an escapee from “My First Sony” R&D. I did just get the mineral gray housing from Virtual Dynamix, (Rick Paul was very helpful) and I think it helps make the phone look a bit nicer. The pictures that I saw did not make the mineral gray look all that different but now that I have seen it in person I think it looks cool. Anyway, I just think the high-resolution pictures of the P900 look great. I like the housing better, sharper, less toy like. I the stylus is so much better. I like the little covers for all of the lint collectors. I like the little rubber feet. I like the idea of the 65000-color screen. I think it will be nicer to show folks the picture you just took of them. I like the idea of a thinner all be it only slightly thinner phone. I think the P800 feels great in the hand; I just wish it were thinner for placing in pockets and such. As you can tell I will get one as soon as it is out and I’ll sell one of you P800 lovers my old one. Come on, you can use it as a hood ornament or some thing. Just kidding guys, keeping it light.
If anyone else finds some new info be sure to post it.
Thanks. |

i know it looks ugly thats true
wireless villadge is like msn but on a phone, but its cost effective, so you use less kb on the gprs or the networks can make it a free service

I always believed the flip would be removable, some forum members came out with statements like, "the flip is fixed" or "sorry the flip doesn't come off", but with no conformation either way i often wondered why they just made up facts like that without any proof, from theses pics it now seems SE designers were not stupid enough to try to sell a P800 clamshell. Even if the T9 is useable on virtual keypad, i still wont use it myself as i prefer virtual qwerty keyboard. |
