Hi guys!

On the 19th of july I have 3 all day events in Outlook XP. But after sync with the t610 only the first one show, the other once have disapeared on the phone, still visable in outlook though. Can this be fixed? One of the heaviest reasons for me getting this phone was that the calendar function wasnt so good on my Nokia phone, things not showing up is far worse then the problems I had with the Nokia....

I had the same problem and was going to investigate at the weekend but thought I would take a look now since you mentioned the same problem.

Looking at the filter settings in the XTND software my calendar had filtering of 1 week ago to 5 weeks in the future. I changed this to 53 weeks into the future and now all my calendar entries, including those that were previously missing from within the original 5 week period, are all synchronised correctly.

btw. I initially changed it to not filter dates but the recurring events in outlook go past the allowed date range of the XTND software so that doesn't work.

Give it a go and let us know!

I set it to 52 weeks back and 150 weeks in the future, still didn’t help. I then saw that I had set it to “free” since the event didn’t really involve my attention, it was just for information. After changing it to busy, I'm hoping ti will sync. This is something I find really bad!!

I am syncing now, but since I use a serial cabel it takes quite some time... I'll let you guys know what happens once it's done.

weird. I do have all day recurring events set as free in outlook which have been transferred to the T610 so I can't explain that.

Hmm, what version of outlook are you using? I'm using XP with service pack 2. I am going to try to set it back to free, and see if it still behaves the same way.

___
seconds later...

I have this "monthly" view to the right and then the "day" view to the left. On the monthly view, all the days that have an appointment are marked with a bold day date. If I set it to free, the boldness goes away and it doesn't sync. As soon as I set 1 of the 3 items to "out of office" all the 3 items syncs and the day is marked with bold text.

yep I have the same as you, XP with SP2 (version 10.4712.4219)

I am also running the latest Commincation Suite V1.5.6 for T610 and not the one on the original CD.

edit: yeah I can see what you are saying but items that do not appear bold in the month view are still synched for me (since I made that change to the filter this morning).

Now this works for me 2, it's not bold in outlook. But it's synced and bold on the phone. Just as I like it. Don't know how I manage to do this, but I have been changing the filter settings back and forth...

I added an Anniversary post. And then let it recurring every year.
The star day, was the birthday, like 1975-02-01. No end date.
Have change the filer setting, and maked it "Out of office"

Nothing shows up in the phone.

If i change the start-date, to 2004-02-01, it shows up.

But the question is if it will show up the next year, 2005, and the next after that and so on. In the filer setting i only have 52 weeks, so i can't see that now. (Offcourse I have to do some more syncs 52 weeks before 2005-02-01, becuse it only syncs 52 weeks, but will it shows then).
