Ok, it is a nice phone but so damn' sloooow and so many bugs ... quite unacceptable for a renowed brand like Ericsson.

The latest problem I am having (all of a sudden, was working fine until last week) is when I compose a new email ... right when I try to add an email address (manually or from the address book) the phone shuts down, asks for the PIN code, shuts down again and asks for the PIN code again. After which it works again but if I try again to send any email I have the same problem. Bottom line, I cannot compose and send any email from my phone anymore.

Has anyone experienced the same problem?

Thanks!

Which SW version do you have?
When I upgraded my T68 to R2B the same problem appeared in my phone, not exactly when composing an e-mail, but when I put the phone in my car holder?!

It never happend back on the good old R1B times..

It "must" be SW related anyhow!

When you have 50 addresses in the archive and tries to enter another (not in the archive). The phone goes to 'enter pin'. All addresses sent or received are added to the archive. I have informed SE. Micke

I have had this problem with NOTHING in the archive. It stopped happening after I erased and then re-imported the phone book.

I think the phone book gets corrupted.

I have R1B.

I've had the same problem with my T65.
When entering the email address, the phone died and asked for the pin code. The email I was writing didn't disappear but was stored in the "Drafts" folder and when trying to oppen it, the phone died again and asked for the pin code one more time.
I had to delete that email, from the "drafts" folder and create a new one. I've never gotten that problem again, but acutally I don't use to write emails from my phone so often...
I upgrade the firmware to the latest version, R3B007, but I don't know if the bug is still there.
Someone else getting the same problem on their T65??
