There are more photos on SE's website

It looks REALLY good... I wonder if we can upgrade our HBH-30's to this new HBH-35... considering it has the same shell...and battery circuitry... I hope so!!!

It's also nice to see is moving back to silver and black... and away from white and baby blue!

It apparently has another profile added Handsfree (aside from the Headset profile) ... longer talk/standby times ... and I think user-replaceable batteries.

Sorry, forgot to post the link:

http://www.sonyericsson.com/spg.jsp?template=P1_3_104&B=ie&start=0&SortDate=1&SortName=0&noredir=

It's in the Photo Library/Accessories section for those of you who can't get the link to work. Go to the main homepage of SE, the on the right side, you'll see other links... go to Press Room, then Photo Library, then Accessories. It's the second from the top.

@jplacson:

Actually I cant find pics of the HBH35 at your link @ Sonyericsson.com.
I dont think it has been officially announced yet.
The HBH35 is scheduled for June 2003.

According to this datasheet it sports improved talk and standby-times and improved voice quality, also a new BT profile was added.

cheers,
hymie

ps: BTW. the batteries ARE NOT user-replaceable. Also the HBH-30 featured two half-size NiMH AAA-Batteries.

Not to sound stupid (but I will), whats the difference between the HBH-30/35 and HBH-60?

I was thinking about getting a BT headset but I thought the HBH-60 was already an upgrade of the HBH-30?

Cheers

It's just another option. Just cuz something is new doesn't mean it's better than the older model. A new 2003 BMW 316i is NOT better than the 2002 BMW M3. It's just another choice.

The HBH-60 actually isn't an upgrade of the HBH-30 since it has shorter range, and shorter battery life. Just like the HBH-30 has less features than the older HBH-10/15.

But I like how the HBH-30/35 looks. Some people like the HBH-60 (I don't...looks like a hi-lighter stuck to your ear) ... others like the HBH-10, others the HBH-15... others Bluespoon.

I say, just get the one that appeals to you. They're all basically the same chipset...all except for Bluespoon (but then it is the most expensive one)

The HBH 60 does not have a shorter range - its 10 metres like other bluetooth devices tho Ive got about 12 - 14 out of it.
