I hope you know what Doom is.

Thanks to Peter van Sebille who brought us this. A bit hard to play with stylus but...

Cool that it got ported, but it doesn't run on my P800. It says 'Running DOOM...', shows a Stop and Resume button, but then it just hangs.
Anyone got it running? Is it my wad-file (runs on the PC however)

@gugge
Do you think you could post some urls where we can find the propper WAD-files? I've found a working doom1.wad, but I can't get my doom3.wad file working. Help!

I've put up my doom1.wad file at this location:
http://www.iceduck.com/files/doom1.wad.zip

@Brimme

Do you mean me? No, I can't get doom3.wad working. But it doesn't give me an error message for doom1.wad anymore so I concluded that I'd finally found a working doom1.wad. Just need doom3.wad now.

@Iceduck Sorry, but I don't know where you can download Doom wad-files. Tried the usual P2P places?

@gugge
But didn't you get it working? Could you possibly e-mail doom3.wad to me so that I can share it with others? My e-mail is: me@REMOVETHISiceduck.com (just remove "removethis" from the address, I don't know if there are any spambots here).

http://party.houseofskark.net/games/doom%202/doom2.wads/Doom3.wad

unzip doom1wad.zip and put this two files Doom3.wad and Doom1.wad

Got it working here too now. Runs beautifully! Really slick.

I've found a much better way to control the game, I've changed left and right to the jog-dial and forward and backwards to up and down on the jog-dial. It's very playable that way. Definitely the coolest game experience for the P800 at the moment.
