Wow, long story...

Someone posted here about someone who posted a calendar app for T300 in the Mophun.com forum some time ago.

The link provided was dead. So I had to email the person who write the app to kindly email me a copy. He was kind and did so.

Excitedly, I installed it on my T300 to only open it with the message: invalid certification.

After some queries in the forum, realised that whatever app or game anyone create, he has to first send it to submission@mophun.com to get it certified. The mophun people then will, together with your phone's imei no., certify it and then send it back to you. Thus, no one can test any beta stuff even on his own phone!

Disheartened, I requested permission from the owner of the app for me to send it to mophun to get it registered.

After permission was granted, I sent it to mophun with my imei no. to request kindly if they would do me this favour since I am not actually a developer with them (I know nuts about programming!!!).

I was questioned about my intentions with the app - why I want it, am I testing it, where I am from, etc etc...

To cut the story short, the mophun guys were kind enough to get the calender.mpn file certified and sent it back to me.

Now, I have a calendar on my T300. It is just a calendar for ref, nothing more... no alarms, no dates to highlight, no nothing... just to refer for dates. I have to go to the games menu to access it.

Nonetheless, I am glad I have a calendar now in my phone...

Really hope mophun will come up with a full featured calendar.

Will try to post some pics of the calendar on my phone...

I too, have just sent p3ngu a PM asking him if I could have a copy of his calender (I said I'd be a beta tester, and contibute to the project however I can - graphic design wise) so hopefully he'll reply. This is certanly good news, as it makes the future of Mophun much more promising if it can develope not only games, but progras too, I can't Imagin a word prosessor would be too heard either...

So what's been happening with the calendar lately? Is it still being developed? I would love a calendar (of any form) on my T300 [addsig]

I am asking many to email mophun to ask them to publicly certify this simple calendar app so that everyone can use it.

No news so far...

Continue to email them your plea...

The mophun calendar will never be able to notify you of anything...
But at least you could be able to store things like appointments in there. You just have to remember to check in there regularly...
