Got the T300 now for about 3 weeks... Love the phone. Missed my T68m/i though; thus, writting this column to remind myself that I do not have any regrets in trading in the latter for the former:

Advantages of T300 over T68m/i:

1. Poly Tones (reall rock, man...)

2. Games (no more solitaire, or any variations of it...)

3. New improved joystick (don't know why some of you guys hate the new joystick. It is truely improved, not so flimsy like the T68's. Know why they removed "Game" from the origial T68m? Coz the T68 joystick can't take prolong usage to that game... will break... The T300 joystick is built to last)

4. No more loose rattling sound coming from the slide volume bar at the side ot the phone.

5. The connection points at the base of the phone is somehow more firm than the T68. My MP3 player was rather loose when connected to the T68. So is it with the DCU-10 cable I used with. The T300 has a firmer hold on the accessories attached to it (eg. MP3 player, communicam etc); thus connection is more secure than the T68. I don't face much of drop-off connection problem I had with my T300 than my previous T68.

6. IMHO, the HBH-30 car holder has a more protruding connection point than the HBH-28, thus allowing the phone to be inserted in more firmly. Tend to get constant re-connection message of "optimised charging" with my last HBH-28 / T68 combination.

7. Keypad buttons are surely a mark above the T68. More protruding and user-friendly than the half submerged buttons on the T68m/i.

8. This point is not really an advantage... the main losing point for the T300 against the T68 is the bluetooth. This problem is solved with the usage of the DBA-10 bluetooth connector, which transform the T300 into a bluetooth device.

9. The price of T300 + communicam is still lower than that of T68i.

10. Poly Tones (reall rock, man...)

Oh, did I mention Poly Tones twice? That's because they are really twice the attraction I have towards the T300.

T300 users, any more inputs?

it's not true the DBA-10 can actually replace the in-built bluetooth of t68i. DBA-10 only allow user to connect to paired bluetooth device.

but when u come to file transfer it can't work!

anyway.... try before use bluetooth to transfer contact to another t68i. the bluetooth was dissapointment for me coz when the transfer to 75+ contact. it hang the phone!!!!

and this been repeating like 15 times.!!!

rather than use bluetooth to transfer the contacts. i used Irda. and it worked perfectly!

a disappointment to bluetooth. guess the bluetooth still not that stable until now.

and i do agree T300 is better than t68i if minus the bluetooth.
