For $1150 I'll wait for the official release and not a pre-release version. |

If you had read all the text, you will know why it is expensive.
You get also a software package with all the Symbian things. You can make softwares for the p800 and this Sw is also expensive.
p800+Symbian Sw=1150Dollars for me it's a good price |

Now I know where the resellers have been getting them. Wonder how large a limit they have per developer......

Are you guys sure that this is a smart thing to do? I once had a pre-release developer version of a 7650, but now I can't install any of the released 7650 software on it!!! Third-party Symbian software can only be installed on officially released 7650s (they have a different ProductID). The phone is also pretty buggy and I can't upgrade it to new firmware because it is a pre-release device! So, you better think twice before you go spending $1150.

Guys its just a pre-release, despite its high price, its because that kit is included, which in my opinion, has no use for ordinary people!!! I'd rather wait for the final product and pay for it reasonably... |

Damn ... they refused send it to Malta...
what a hack.. its fine with me that its pre-comercial (NOT PRE PRODUCTION!!! its HUGE diffrence!) unit as i want it for dev. purposes. |

Thats a bit too steep for me, rather wait for the cheaper one.

pre commercial is unit build for pre commerce purposes
pre production is build made for pre production tests
i.e. this unit is used for branding purposes like did wind TIM and so on
i.e. this should be by hardware final version with maximum software upgrade flexibility (some limitation removed)
