If I can get an unlock code for my T68 from my service provider, how can I go about unlocking it. Can anyone give me the instructions?

enter the NCK code

Does anyone know if Orange (UK) with give you an unlocking code for free if you call them up?

I asked the CPW about getting my T68 unlocked, they said Orange would do it for £35... I thought this was a bit pricey... considering I am cancelling my contract and the phone now belongs to me anyway.

aargh
just called orange, they want £20 to unlock it!!!

they can do it remotely, and I've just given notice to cancel my contract, also I am well past the end of the initial 12 month period, so the phone legally belongs to me anyway!

needless to say I declined to pay £20 for it. (should be free in my opinion)

does seem unfair, now I can't really do what I want the phone without paying an loads of cash.

for example if I want to sell on eBay - I would get more money for it if its unlocked - but I doubt I would get £20 more for it to justify paying to unlock it.
