The outer display in stand-by mode looks almost opaque...I wonder if this is to deliberately echo the Sony MP3 Walkman players' style of displays. |

Mmm, nothing much TBH. I'd guess it has similar specs to the Z710, except with 3G. Screen looks a bit small, could've been bigger. Yet another 2 megapixel camera without a flash or autofocus. Come on SE! Not really that slim either.
Looks pretty cool to me though. The hidden OLED screen, but there doesn't seem to be any sign of external media controls, which renders his phone useless as a mp3 player.
Just a clamshell K610. Note that there isn't a radio either, just like the K610.

Yeah, its a low end 3G phone with a 2MP cam. 3G for the masses, like the K610.
The 2MP cam has raised the bar somewhat. 1.3mp is now what vga was.
I can't seem to see an external display though. Could it be a flush one like on the  players?

Yeah, there is an external monochrome screen, just like on the Sony mp3 players. Look here, although it is kinda hard to see with that huge watermark on the photo.
