Official announcement from Voda UK that the P800 has been pushed back to Jan 15th 2003 for launch.
Confirmed by CPW.
Both companies have removed the phone detail from current catalouges to stop confusing consumers. Voda reporting serious network conflicts with the phone, and cannot pass it for UK network use at present.
What a load of S***.

Even the rest of the world! Just contacted the dealers here and they said it was supposed to be december but it got delayed till jan 2003. I began hating SE.

My cöntact say it will be in Central and Middle Europe firs, than west Europe, thn rest (Asia, America).

The question is... after this fiasco, who the h£ll is going to wait for any phones  release in future.
Personally I think I might as well wait for things I've seen on Star Trek. Now the P800 is as good as dead, I can't decide between a Nokia 7210 or Motorola T720 now...! |

If the P800 is not going to release next month I am not going to buy it.
I am sorry guys but there are A LOT of good phones out there...
Exept of this i use to have a new cell every 6-8 mothns.
So thats its not a problem for me.
But I feel so bad first with the update of the T68m and now with the P800... |

2003???!?!??!?! If they delay it THAT long, they'd better release a different phone all together!
Sony is supposed to have new 20-bit color LCDs out or something... they'd better upgrade the P800 by the time it comes out.
They should at LEAST make the damn thing thinner!!! 1"???!?! in 2003???? Man... put that phone on a friggin' diet! |

Guys i still think the p800 is worth waiting for due to the expansion capabilities and the sheer features of the phone. I already have a t68i and a HBH-30, so obviously i would want a next gen phone as my next phone and it should also be better and compatible with my existing accessories
