When I use my phone I notice a buzzing noise in the background. It is very annoying and I notice that it is in sync with my conversation. When the person on the other line is talking it buzzes like a pulse, but when I start talking, it buzzes solid. Is this normal or is there something wrong with my phone/service?

No I am not using a head set when this happens. I am using the phone in normal mode.

As for the Sim Card idea. I upgraded to the T68i from the T68m and when I did this, they just took the card out of my old phone and put it into my new phone and I was all set. Could this old generation card be the problem?

Make sure you are not any where near some speakers that are currently turned on as this causes interference in the form of a buzzing sound.

Was it brand new from Amazon or from one of the Amazon sellers? (Z auctions etc)

yeah, well with my T68, when I wld be dialing someone, I'd sometimes here someone say "allo, allo" as if I crossed over to someone else's convo.. it's really weird..
and this happens no matter what network I use, and in different continents so...
I dunno.. prolly a defect in the phone..

like it was an electronic voice just saying "allo allo"...

I also just received my t68i from Amazon.com, and there is definitely a constant buzzing/clicking noise from the phone's earpiece whenever you make a call. Has anyone had this problem with non-Amazon-purchased t68i's?

Your all suffering from low signal i guess, the phone has to work harder, it`s a higher dose of radiation aswell, either that or your near a tv.
