Hi
my love with my T68i forced me to discover this useful trick, it maybe dont help sometimes, but with me, now the OPERATOR LOGO IS OFF, and here is how you can shut it OFF:
very simple, edit your favorite Theme with the THEME EDITOR software, just make the operator name's color as same as the color of the background picture, this way if the picture's upper corner is red, you make the color of the name red, then the name will just disappear, it worked perfect with me, now i dont have an operator nice name.
but with some wallpapers it wont work if the upper corner had many colors.
I hope i helped someone.
T68i is the best phone in the world.

This was a very welcome idea. I always dissliked to go around and look at the ugly advertise. I not only have to pay for the service. I have to watch their logo all day.
I will try it. |

I tried it but its not working as i hoped. I have never played with the theme editors before. Never had any reason t'l now.
There seems to be some internal checking in the phone that forbids the operator logo colour and operator logo outline colour to be the same. So it seems impossible to make the logo go away compleately? I made a white background and got the logo to be quite pale but its still there. Maybe it works better if you have a picture in the backgound and not just white? Has anyone made some neutral good background and theme that works good that you could post somewhere. (So i cant see the logo).
Or am i missing something? |

i dont see why everyone wants to get rid of it anyway...
where i work, i get very poor signal for my network. So for most of the day i get "sos calls only" appearing on the screen. if the network logo was hidden, how would i be able to see it?

thats true aswell, i spose its only for people who have very good signals or despise the operator logo being on the phone, |

before there was countless threads about getting rid of the logo,
now everybody wants to keep the logo,
i think this is human nature.

How do you make it work perfect? You cant see the logo at all?
Can you set the logo colour and outline/shadow colour the same somehow? When i set them to the same my phone refuses to activate the theme and asks if i want to delete it. |
