im really confused , i was looking to buy 7210 for my girl cuz she likes nokia more, but after hearing from guys who used the phone
that it does not support downloading themes , only which are on in the phone , no picture which u want to attach with the caller.
and many pther things . only 2 thingd r better than t68 , color and ring tones...
on other hand, t300 , is alomst t68 , with no bluetooth or sync , which i dont think she will ever use, polyphonic tones , but 256 color , which is not that good ..
so what do recommend ???
is there gonna be a better resloution for t300 or does the 7210 has the same option as t68 , but maube my friends didnt know about it??
plz , a small advice to make up my mind |

I'm currently using 7210 which I used for a week.
What I want to say is that:
The substance is not as good as I thought.
No surprise at all!
Yes, it has a much better screen than T68i.
The resolution is very high (128 x 128) and it supports 4096 colours,
while T300 only supports 256 colours with 101 x 80 pixels.
But after I tryiny the phone for just five minutes,
I am really disappointed.
T68i / T300 seems give me a much better feeling.
Themes, screen saver, wallpaper, picture phonebook really give me a great feel even in a 256-colour screen.
7210? Ha, its 4096 colours are just usable (for me) in wallpaper...
No animated icon,
no animated screen saver,
no animated switch on show,
no switch off show,
no picture phonebook,
small caller group graphic,
no polyphonic ringing tone (except Nokia Tune) for caller group,
boring user interface,
bad polyphonic ringing tone quality
(too little chords and instruments supports),
nearly useless colour schemes function...
Of course it has some advantages over T300 such as good phonebook,
good calander, good screen quality, FM stereo radio, spearkerphone, fast natvigation speed, etc.
But I really want to sell my 7210 now and use back my T68i......
Or buy a T300 instead...
With the cost of 7210, I can nearly buy two T300 already!
And in my onipion,
a better feeling when I use a phone is more important than using a better screen! |

Hey, Djk
How much did u buy the 7210 for in HK?? Btw, how much memory size for 7210 when you bought?? Is it much smaller than T68i ?? 7210 is not worth at all........nokia has been no real innovation at all........... how about 7210's battery life, worse than T68i ?? Anyway, T68i rules !!! |

Hi caff,
I bought at HKD$3088 as I had some coupon.
The memory size is about 290KB memory.
(But it counts the size of photo as same as in PC, not a double which occurs in T68i)
Yes, it is totally not worth such high price.
At this moment, with such money, I prefer to spend a little more to buy a cool looking T600 and clean design with great feeling T300.
The battery status bar shows me a really surprise in the first day.
No reduction after switching on the screen for over 3 hours!!!
However, later on, it reduces greatly...
So I can say that the bar is really not reliable!
I think T68i still has a bit longer battery life over 7210.

you can add your own, no problem, but there is no such ting for the t300 as 12bit colour screen its just 256 colours. go for the T300 man its much better then the 7210. |

T300 better than 7210!?! You've got to be kidding me... These two phones do not even belong to the same class. Of course that 7210 is a lot better than T300 (nobody here wants to say it because they are all SE fanatics ) but, it will also cost a lot more money than T300. If you want to compare SE T300 with a Nokia model, compare it to 3510i, not 7210...

Yes. 3510i is ment to be a direct answer to the T300 (cheap and youth-directed handsets) .. and according to me, the Nokia looks much better .. then again it may not have better features. |

The Nokia 7210 is positioned in a higher market than the T300, it has a better screen (bigger, higher resolution and more colours) and it has front and rear changeable covers (better than the T300 changeable facia.
However, it doesn't have as much memory for dynamic storage and because of the software, it is not quite as flexible with customisations as the Sony Ericsson models.
There's no "of course" that it's a better phone than the T300, the Nokia 7210 has it's flaws that you will notice if you move from Sony Ericsson - but the same can be said in vice-versa. You have to try both phones, don't make a baseless stereotypical judgement.
Saying that, comparing the T300 (mid-high level phone) to 7210 (high level phone) is not fair. You should really compare the 7210 with the T68i. I think the 7210 is a good phone, it will sell by the bucketload but it should have kept the voice recorder for MMS (AMR format) and omitting Bluetooth makes lt seem less worth the money (not that most people who buy it will care).

Okay, then I talk about t68i, 7210. I have said that the feel when i used my 7210 is even much worse than t68i. I just can say that many hong kong 7210 users have the same feeling as me that the phone is very disappointing. And my point always is that, the feeling of using t68i is better than 7210.

put it in a simple term, 7210 is just not worth about twice the price as T300........... |
