Problem: E700 and MA 620 |

Hi everyone,
I have a problem that i have tried searching for but i couldnt find the solution.
I have a brandnew samsung E700 and i just bought the MA-620 infa red usb device I followed all the instalation insructions and the usb device will recognise the phone which is great. But when i try to send anything i always get the same error:
"file was not sent beacuse an error ocured while wireless link was sending file data to the other machine. The data is invalid"
Any ideas?
I am running windows XP home with all the latest updates. And yes i am making sure that i have turned infa red on on the phone lol.

To send anything to the e700 via ir you must use samsung easystudio pims and filemanager. You can download the easystudio programs at the samsung website

two? The software is called EasyStudio PIMS and Filemanager.... you can also download E700 Handset Manager which is quite equal to Samsung's own software |

got it working now folks. Just need a good source of free games ringtones and graphics. Any places you would recomend?

for ringtones (MIDI)... use for example http://www.google.com there are lots of MIDI archives on the net... to convert them to MMF, use PSM Player |

well i thought i had it all sorted. I can get all the pictures etc etc off my phone but i am unable to send anything to it. Whenever i try to upload it it crashes. i am downloading the image editor part and the internet access bit aswell so the program will be running with all its componants and i hope that that might help.
But do you have any ideas about what could be going wrong?!

My E700 works fine with it, you need to make sure you have the latest Drivers and E700 software off their Website
PIMS doesnt work with MA-620, or at least not with mine

What do you mean PIMS? i downloaded the software direct from the samsung website so it will be up - to - date. I am not sure about the driver for the MA 620 though, i only used the one that was on the CD, Should i look for the newest driver? It would be helpfull if i actually got an error message as opposed to the program just crashing lol

did u download all 3 of the programs???
the program shouldnt crash.....there should be something wrong with your comp dude...
mine works perfectly...
and also make sure ur ma-620's software is upgraded too...

Hi all. I have a quick problem. I have all the software ready to go but when The link activates between my e700 and MA 620 My xp as for samsung e700 drivers and it cant find them anywhere. what do i need.

was having the same problem with easystudio, what work for me was just updating software: to this by by running easy studio then help/update |
