Some help from the ppl who make my dongle..

Stephen,

It seems that the programs you are trying
to run were meant to run on another Bluetooth
stack. Programs from one stack are not
interchangeable with another stack.

Microsoft has stated they will not certify the drivers for any
third party Bluetooth stack.

I know this might be obvious but have you got the latest version of fma ? I had the same problem till I installed the latest version (and told it to use the serial port not the bt address).

Hi SteveS,

Bluetooth dongle usually comes with configuration utility. One of the option in the configuration is setting/adding a virtual serial port. Make sure you use the same virtual serial port in the configuration setting and fma option.

Anybody getting error message 'Command return error' when sending SMS? My environment is W2K Professional with SP1, Billionton BT dongle, fma 0.10RC2, and T610.

Thanks,

Jiggs

This error message is typical if you are trying to use a direct BT Connection and your BT Stack is not supported.

You should use the "Use Serial Port" Option instead! Just make sure that you have the right COM PORT selected under CONNECT PORT. Usually it is COM 3, if it does not work right away just try other COM PORTS and it should work.

Make sure that you have installed the Mobile Phone Monitor, which came with your Phone and it will work just fine.

dont use the bluetooth option in FMA, use the serial one.
