I have tried using this software and it half works! But there's a few problems I am having with it.

Float (or anyone that knows anything about this software), can you please e-mail me to discuss.

Thanks

Or you could use the bugs/forums/tracker of the FMA site.

Ok, what happens is this:

Load up the program. Can't figure out how to set up the connection under 'options' using the Bluetooth settings, so I just use the serial port settings (Com 4 115xxx baudrate).

Now, sometimes it connects to the phone, but at the bottom of the screen it says 'Connected' and then just to the right is says 'Error: Exception' briefly - and then won't syncronise and can't send files. When syncronising it says that it is doing it, and my phone shows the sync display, but nothing happens. After that, it won't connect to the phone at all.

Not related to FMA - but I also don't understand all the com port settings in the general BT settings on XP. If anyone can explain i'd be grateful.

I'm very tempted to just sell the stupid BT dongle and get an IR one instead!

Ok - next installation of annoyance!

I removed the Sony Ericsson XTND connect software and the FMA worked. Well, worked in as much as I got the display showing battery status, phone serial number, etc. I also managed to transfer theme files!

For some reason the syncronising of the phonebook doesn't work though, and if I try to syncronise, then says it is doing it....but isn't, then disconnects and won't connect again. At this point I also can't close the program down and have to restart the computer. Then it will connect again.

Incidentally, I then re-installed the XTND software and both programs are still working.
