"insert sim card" error message |

hello there I'm a newbie here..
and I'd have a problem with my t68i
ok here I go :
I took the sim card out of me phone and then when i put it back and turned it on i've got this message "insert sim card" I think I've damaged the sim , cause I used a knife to take it out...
how can I know if I damaged the sim?

You have damaged the sim if you used a knife. The only thing you need to get the sim out is your nail on new handsets. And thats if the sim is very stiff while taking it out

Yes, most mobile shops have them in. What network are you on?

If you contact your service provider and tell them that you have irreversibly blocked you sim card they might send you a new one free of charge. They do over here in the uk anyway. They will only do this once though

Just tell them you've had your phone nicked. But only need a replacement sim. O2 have sent me 3 sims in the last 18months |

Just say that the phone says blocked. Act all stupid (not too hard to do on my behalf) and say you dont know whats going on. Ive had replacement cards from every uk network.
