Often an automated response from their sales will say "this email simply confirms receipt of your request and is not a contract of sale" If they find the price is wrong before they charge your credit card they can (in the UK) reject it. I think that once they've charged your card the contract of sale is in effect and they are then obliged to supply for that price.
