my imei number was something like this before..****-****-5-02
after having updated my firmware from basic to R3C this IMEI number is displaying ****-****-5-13.

Is there any problem with this?? or does firmware update bears any change in the IMEI number too??

Thanks..
Jade..

To use apps like webviewer or the built in email client you need internet gprs. Otherwise its impossible to connect.

Thanks Lynx. I saw it and I guess mine must be very old. If I have a SE authorised centre upgrade it, will I be able to remove the T-Mobile predefined icons later on with the 13-second master reset trick?

I upgraded my firmware a couple of days ago. I now have R6C005 and the phone is actually much faster. I also removed most of the predefined T-Mobile's pictures. Only two are left - the flower in colour and the flower in WBMP format. And I have more than 2500 kb left

Im happy to see that. The 2 roses are implemented into the phones fw, not the operator's (i think) because they cant be deleted on my T610 that was unbranded from the start. Its good to see that i helped .

@jadeparfait: For information about IMEI numbers, have a look at International Numbering Plans - IMEI Number Analysis, and especially International Numbering Plans - Numbering plans guide - IMEI (SV): International Mobile Equipment Identity (and Software Version).
