Is there a software that could edit midi files? For exmaple, I have an entire song and all I want is the chorus part...please help.

Cubase SX works the best, things you can do are unbelivable

i just downloaded this prog and tested it, its the worst program ive ever seen
1st its only a CONVERTER , it wont even let you open an existing midi file for edeting.(and the topic was an midi editor)
2nd its a converter PERIOD. you cant add or change notes
and 3rd i converted 50cents PIMP and it didnt sound anything like original.
this prog looks like it was made in VB sooo simple looks soo crapy its not even close to any of the profashinal progs like Cubase, Native Instruments, Sony Forge, etc......
dont even waste your time |

which proggy you talking about?
I used phs and it works really well, even lets you adjust volume of individual instruments or the whole track, you can also cut only the bits you want. I use it for all my midis. I would highly recommend it, it also is a very small file and uses little system resources.

If u want a really good midi editor Sibelius is the way to go, mite be a bit expensive if ur not a musician tho! |

Omg.. dude i just downloaded Sibelius 3, and its the 2nd WORST program ive seen.
We dont want a rocket science complex super crapy program
1. Sibelius opens MIDI files and converts them to NOTES, how are we the "NORMAL USER" suposto edit them if we dont even know what *do,re,mi,fa,so,la,ci, means* ?
Ppl dont waste your time on it its 11megs you cant save in a demo its not even considerd to be close to an midi editor.
FL-Studio or Cubase SX is the way to go if you wan quick and fast edit |
