@floAt @crino @GOwin

I am very new here. I just came across your Great FMA a couple of days ago. Excellent program with a great user interface!! Congratualtions and thank you for the public service.

FMA 0.0.9.9 appears to work in my setup T68i (R6A012) / W2K with extrnal SigmaTel USB-Irda dongle (no other setups or customizations!). You may wish to add this usb/irda to the list of working items on your fma website.

I assume in the battery status, the 'current charge' is the net current going into the battery and 'consumption' is the total from the charger used by the phone and the battery? Where can I find precise specs of what these items are and other such information that may be available from the phone thru that interface?

I noticed the following problems: Under some conditions (perhaps after some error in data transfer), it fails to reconnect. If the connect on start and reconnect are enabled, even if FMA is restarted it does not reconnect; but if those two are disbaled, and then FMA restarted, it reconnects fine. When connected, even if the IR beam is blocked, it reconnects fine when ir is avilable again.

I can't connect T610 to FMA via bluetooth (billington) but FMA can connect via Irda but can't synchornize phonebook and sms.

I can connect to PC Control and other application like theme editor etc... via bluetoothso i don't think it my bluetooth dongle problem. perhap it's due to "microsoft bluetooth driver" i've search for is driver for almost 1 week but still no luck of getting it. FMA also mention about ms script where can i get all this to get FMA connect to my T610.

I really hope to have a try on FMA. If anyone on esato that can helpout please post it on esato. Thanks in advance

Hi

Installed fma today. works fine except few small errors. First when i connect to phone (via com3, i have msi bluetooth). i get error message. +CMS ERROR 303 . I looked at sourceforge but couldnt find any faq or any other explantion of this error.

When i hit "Start Sync Phonebook" all numbers where synced but at the end i recieved "sync error" (or something like that) by watching at log i saw that all numbers where synced anyway. if i hit sync again i get "Error: Synchronize aborted" , phone says "Synchronization finished". Any hints why i recieve this?

btw in case you already explained this once, sorry, i just didnt have enough time to read all 37 pages of posts....

Hi,

Who are the script experts here for FMA?! Is it possible to write a script function to get the output of an AT command and then display it on the phone, when a phone menu item is activated? If this is possible, can somebody show a small sample of this, so that I can add my own script function to do this? Thank you very much!

What I wish to do is try to display the %capacity fo the battery on the phone, thur a menu item, similar to status -- or even better show the number in addtion to the little battery bar at the bottom.

@kenski
nope, it doesn't work with those phones.

@CqFma
does it have to be a script for fMA? you can connect to your phone via window's hyperterminal, and see the results of AT commands you send to your phone.

you might want to try the BtserverSpylite (a widcomm stack utility). I'm not sure if it works for your BT dongle thou.

@kayla
could the brand be billionton instead of "billington"

fMA doesn't rely on MPM, unlike the apps you mentioned. Check your MPM options in the control panel, the BT com port might have been set for MPM's exclusive use (reserved), or some other app is using the same port you set in your fMA configuration.

re ms script control. you only need it if you use win98

I get exactly the same error here also. T68i/R6A012 on W2K (see my setup a couple of posts earlier).

@GOwin
Just to see the results of the AT commands, we can use FMA itself in the -debug mode. I am intersted in the how to of what I asked for and if this was possible.

BTW, my link is IrDa (USB based dongle), and not BT.

i had the same problem as blahblah and i have the connect on startup and autoconnect disabled.

i have a t68i firmware r8a015 and fma 9.9.
i use xp pro and have the microsoft bluetooth dongle that came with my keyboard and mouse.

i used to have firmware 3 and the previous fma and things worked ok.

when i sent my phone in for upgrade, i put all my contacts onto the sim card. when i got the phone back, i lost all my pics, contacts off the phone itself. i got the numbers back on from the sim.

i paired the phone to the pc - no problem.
i open up fma and can connect to the phone, but i get the synch aborted error. at the bottom it says...

"error sending telecom/pb/luid/0000D7000000.vcf not found"

also all my contacts are screwed up when i view them on the pc. the names is the surname and the surname shows up as organization. the number types (fax, mobile, etc) are also messed up.
when i click on the sim tab - nothing just an empty grid.
nothing on the local machine either.

someone please help!!!

thanks!

Could you please post a few of the debug lines following "Obex session ended"? this could be the "stray OK after OBEX" problem, which seems to appear on T610 as well as T300...

@akilan

Could you copy MobileAgent.exe to another directory (a clean one, without data files) and try to run it to get a clean sync? Will that work? If not, please post debug log of the sync, or rather, mail me the log on sourceforge (i'm bufflig there too, see the list of FMA dev's).

Cheers,
/Patrik

use the serial port option instead.

your BT software installation creates several BT com ports in your computer, just configure your fMA to use those ports.

check the Technical forum for more info about billionton adapters. i think there are several threads there about this brand
