@punkserb:

SMan will not be ported to the Series 60 platform or any other Nokia platform.

I was sittin on da train the other day and I decided to activate the radar now then....

2 devices appeared, one of them was a T610 to which (with my phone name set to I sent nice phone

The other device was...wait for it....a Compaq IPAQ Pocket PC my immediate thought was RESULT as I had never tried to bluejack one of these before!

Now I have quite a bit of knowledge about pocket PC's and the like and I decided to send a contact instead of a note as the PPC was more likely to accept this without too much bother......I could see the prospective vic too he was standing in the aisle opposite me!

The scan was done from the menu......why am I telling you that....the reason is cos I missed the opportunity to try to bluejack it as I was switching to manage contacts to send "look behind you!" to em the train stopped at the station and the bloke started to walk down to the door......not a problem I thought as long as he does not go more than 10M and I could get him when was not on the train to cause even more confusion .....BUT the B*stard turned it off ....MISSED! Doh!

Never mind I thought......ill probably see another muppet with a enabled PPC.....reason I posted this is to ask if anyone else has some stories about bluejacking PDA's like palm's, PPC's maybe even a swanky new laptop!??

Got to try this bluejacking thingy out - just got my t610 (also have a t86i) and I can't wait to go looking for victims ! A couple of the bars I frequent always have people posing with their phones - I'll see who I can hit tonight when I'm out. LOL - way cool !

i work in a circuit city (big consumer electronics retail ripoff store). and nerds come in there all the time with the newest PPC and palms yet none of them turn their BT off. same with their t610's and 3650's.
so when managers aren't around i send them the virus contact. and other like watch out behind you and stuff like that. the look on their faces is priceless.

@boyi: Due to the sandbox model of Java, there won't be an SMan proggy for the T610.

i went to a restraunt last night and found a T610 "T610 Andy's", so i sent a note saying nice phone.

well that's 2 T610's i've found with bluetooth set to on now, so do T610's have bluetooth on by default?

thanx in advance

Edit: also will you be able to use Sman on the P900?

Ok, so i read 10 pages and i am very tired. I am trying to bluejack someone and when i do, my phone asks for the `pass key`. I know it doesn`t matter what pass key u use as long as u match it with the other ...devide.I Can'` match it , as it supposed for them not to know.So what do i do next? I don`t have a pass key given by SE...any way to get ovet the pass key problem?
PS:Whatever number i enter, i get connection failed.

Did it twice today! Sent a virus warning to 2 guys with 6310i. I only saw the face on the first one. He looked at the phone and he saw suprised, or kinda shocked. He sat there with a strange look on his face.
I also tried to send to a 7650 but it just kept sending and sending, so i gave that up.
