The thing is that i have 2 phones laying around and i'd like to be able to use the HBH-30 with both of them without going through pairing every time.

Possible ?

No you can't... that feature was removed when SE took over... the HBH-10, 15, and 20 can be paired with 8 devices... the HBH-30 can only be paired with one device.

jplac..... my t39, t68 was paired to beatrix's hbh-30 including his own t68. so when we are together, and either my t39, t68 or his t68 rings, his hbh-30 will accept the call

so why can't i pair my HBH-30 with my T68 and my friend's T68? It's only one or the other... my HBH-10 can be paired, and I can select which device is active... but I can't do that with my HBH-30.

correction... i just tried all my BT headsets, and phones... the HBH-30 can be paired with multiple device... BUT it will only be fully functional with the LAST device it was paired with...

ex: Pair HBH-30 with R520, then pair HBH-30 with T68... If call comes in either phone, HBH-30 can answer... BUT HBH-30 can only initiate a voice call on the T68, since this was the last device it was paired with. Unlike the HBH-10/15, you can't select which among the paired devices is active on the HBH-30...there is also no menu available from the phone.

Hey captainsm,

The answer is YES!

I have a T68i and, and so do 4 of my friends. The buggers bought me an HBH-30 for my birthday.

I have paired my phone with the headset and so has one of my friends.

If one of our phones ring, the headset will ring too. Whoever initiates a call, the headset will pick it up. If we both make a call at the same time, the headset picks up the call that was made that split second first.

We both have the latest firmwares on our phones.

Hope this helps!!
