Hiya
Could someone let me know if I am using the communicam M-20 wrong as the pictures I am taking are awful, totally dark and you can only slightly make out who the person is..its rubbish, I wasnt expecting top quality pictures at all, but compared to the nokia photos it is just unusable...are there any settings to make it lighter? I have changed the contrast but no difference, any advise woudl be great..thank you

communicam is good but it is for the case if you send it to a computer and view it. your T68ie only has 256 colors! Best it u choose picture balance on. then take in bright lit areas, forget abt stilling a shot in discos!

Well I'm not sure anyone agrees with me, but my opinion is that we're being sold very old technology at over-inflated prices. Sure, I don't expect a 6 megapixel camera with zoom lens, but it's obvious to me that we're being milked for our money. Give it a couple of years, and I guarantee phones will have cameras capable of taking decent photos under any conditions. The technology to take a really good photo at 640x480 has been around for at least 5 years - so why is it not available on phones? Because people will pay anything for the chance to be the first with a camera, however poor it is. I guess that's just the way it works!

as levinlam quite rightly said the pics may look awful on the fone's display (bcoz of the lack of colours the fone can display), but if you send them to a pc they are actually fairly good pics. I read a review where the reviewer compared various pics taken with the MCA20 and the Nokia 7650, and when sent to a pc the pics from the MCA20 were much better than the Nokia's.

With Ericsson and Nokia gone: we must keep their spirits alive and buy JOLLA or YOTA

I too am happy with the camera. Like any camera without a flash, the photo needs to be taken in good light. If you use good light the picture looks good on the phone screen, and fantastic on a PC screen. I suppose I'm pleased because I only paid £50 for it, thanks to a £70 discount voucher that came with the phone from orange. If I had paid full whack for it, then I may have been a bit disapointed, but as it goes, I'm not!

I would recommend the MCA-20.

The colour balance can be adjusted when the camera is connected to the phone (while in the camera's menu) by pressing *##*.

I think the memory in the camera is large part of the price. There are cheap cameras that can take decent picture but they have only 8 or 16 top ...

Hey, I just got my MCA-20 this morning. Does anyone know if it is possible to download a 640x480 pic from the phone to a laptop? I tried Send Via IR but it says Failed to Connect to Device. I have a Toshiba laptop running Windows XP Pro. I also can't seem to get the email facility to work on my phone!!

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks!!!

I download the 640X480 pics to my pc via IR with a MA-620 IR adapter, no problem.
