This is version 3.xxxxx of the driver and it works GREAT at Windows XP Professional.
Good luck!

However I strongly recommend buying a USB card reader/writer… they're much faster!

I agree! get a USB card reader/writer. The parallel port writer is slooooooow. . .
amd you don't have to worry about all those wires (you need to connect the reader to the keyboard port for power) and drivers.

@salsarella
How about buying HBM-30? It's a new model and XP compatible. |

Try to connect a scanner, a printer and the MMC R/W at the same parallel port and print, scan and load music to your MMC at the same time... Make sure that you do this with a 32MB SD-RAM... You may also try to burn a CD at the same time. Win98 would be an excellent choice as an OS for this job-compilation... Then I bet you would be running off to the nearest store to buy a USB-Printer, USB-Scanner, USB-MMC R/W and a 512MB DDR-Ram!..
By the way, the wap.se.com link doesn't work... I had the Beta version of the driver on my "pirated" version of WinXP Pro (Yeah, I learned my lesson, no more pirated software; it made me by a new PC!) and now I use it with my "paid" WinXP Home edition without any problems... Just load the music to the MMC card with MediaPlayer9 or a similar program so you know when the loading ends up... |

Stupid me ;-) however, you won't ever regret purchasing a USB MMC card reader/writer...
