image download size limits - way around it??? |

on some networks, there is a filesize limitation for downloading color images from WAP sites of 3kb. with such a small limit, many complex images, such as photographs, or images for large display phones (P800 or 7650) cannot be downloaded without severe degradation in image quality.
anyone know how to overcome this limitation, other than coercing the network operator to increase the size limits? |

Try to do a search on HALEBOP, 02, and SONY ERICSSON gateway ip address-i got it somewhere in the forums b4.when u get the ip,make a new profile in your phone and input the necessary data :-D with these ip addresses u could download files up to 30k in size! :-D hope this helps.

I use Vodafone and T-Mobile in the UK both allow large files, you can get huge ones through T-Mobile UK not sure what their limit is...?
If you can't download large files plug in the nowmms.com WAP Gateway IP address in your WAP settings and you can do big files. |
