Sending animated GIF by e-mail to MMS client

selectwave Joined: Jan 04, 2003 Posts: 5 PM	Posted: 2003-01-04 19:35 Does anyone have experience sending an animated GIF (or other animations, perhaps with SMIL) to a T300 from regular e-mail? When I've tried this I can't get the GIF to animate on the phone. Of course the GIF animates fine on the PC but once I e-mail it to the phone just the first frame is shown and I can't animate it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I expected it to animate just like when I opened a new MMS sent from another phone.

I've sent it as an attachment (which didn't animate) and when I paste it into the body of the e-mail most of the characters are unprintable so that didn't work either. Can you elaborate on your answer? Thanks in advance.
