Right, ive got some images I have made myself and would like to upload em to my mobile which is the Ericsson T68i. I cant get hold of a data cable and thought the only way to do it would be host my own wap site then put the pictures on there so that I can save them, like you would do on the Ericsson wap site where you can download backgrounds and save them to my pictures... so it IS possible. What I have tried is getting a .wml editor and a free wap host. I then used the Sony Ericsson image editor to make sure it was the right size and everything and saved the new, T68i screen sized picture to the wap host along with a basic .wml file to display the picture which I could then save and use as a background. The problem is that everything is working except the image is not displayed, only the alt text! Its really annoying me as I cant get a data cable from anywhere, not even the Ericsson online shop! So my question is, what format and attributes do pictures have to be in for them to be viewable in colour on a wap page on my fone just like on the Sony Ericsson wap site where you can get new backgrounds. I'll be very greatful if you can help me. Thank you in advance!

Hi philds,

Here are a few things you may want to check:

- For the image to be viewable in the wap browser, the file size should be no larger than 2.7 Kb. Apparently, this limit is set by service providers. Other users have reported their carriers limit viewable web graphics to only 1.5 Kb.
- The image size should be 101 x 80 pixels.
- I've had the best luck with gifs, but others say jpegs work too.
- Have you tried html or xhtml? The T68i can handle simple (and short) xhtml pages with no problems.

Let me know what happens. - T68iFan
