gateway problems with t68i on orange |

hi everyone, im new to this so please don't think im stupid. Does anyone know how I can download items larger than 3Kb to my t68i which is on orange network.
Im running GPRS and have tried everything I can think of including entering the Halebop Gateway ISP but it doesnt f**king work. |

i have just got a t68i on orange myself and am having similar problems. i too am a bit of a novice at this. but ill tell you what i have found out so far.
orange wap will only let you download small files. its not really set up for colour phones with logos/screensavers etc. in order to get round this you can change the gateway that orange uses, while still using the orange number. in order to do this you have to set up a new wap profile entering the ip address:
194.237.106.73
its some swedish phone company or other.
this will allow you to use wap by setting this new profile as your default browser, choosing orange wap as the data provider.
i have tried a couple of others but havent managed to get them to work. i am going to try this one.

thanx for trying ollie but it didnt work. all I got was a message saying gprs paremeters not supported. i definately need some sort of suppression system running off another isp but which isp will work with orange gprs wap!!! |
