google, have now mapped the entire world via satalite imagery and have made it into a program, its bloody amazing, even if you are not interested in geography, this is so bloody cool

I think it is almost complete, if you look at places such as New your, the detail is amazing, but where I livee it won't really show much of the streets

Yeah, this softwares been out for ages, it used to be under the name and company 'Keyhole' I used it back in 2002 etc, and i found it amazing, since then the quality has become superb in places and better in others, google are really taking this project on and trying to make it huge, I find it great for directions. Enter two postcodes or places etc and it gives you step-by-step directions, great!
Plus the 3-D buildings are a huge improvement.
Anyway, toodle pip guys.

I think the file is about 6 meg big, pos a bit bigger, but Its worth it just for the hell of it

Sorry but as this programe has to download huge amounts of data from the map source being on a dial will make viewing anything painstakingly slow
