That page won't open on my browser

I've been told by SE that it will be available in Q3. The supplied headset for the K750i doesn't fit my ears properly....
Posted by etaab
Heh, mine too, the right earbud always falls out. Strange.
I reckon the HPM-70 will come out, coincidentally, around the same time as the W800i.
Posted by TonyC
Glad I'm not the only one!!!
Posted by kennethsoh81
Yes, I'm also waiting for that HPM-70. Eagerly waiting, I think it'll be launch together with the W800i which I think will launch this or next week.

Posted by simplyspike
haha we're in the same boat then. i don't know what to do to get one either.
any chinese reader/speaker here??
Posted by simplyspike
i emailed the guy about it and he replied with:
"hi,we will list this item to english soon. we can ship to worldwide, the ship cost is $9.99"
Posted by edX
Another place with the adapters available for sale,
http://www.doml.com/product.asp?id=2035
More costly than from that Chinese guy in China but they're a reputable website that ships worldwide.
Either way, after adding in shipping charges both works out to be about the same price. IMO, it's better to get from doml.com rather than some unknown Chinese guy located in China.
Update: After some clicking around, doml.com is cheaper than the Chinese guy in China by $1 after adding in the shipping charges. It's $12 (doml.com) vs $13 (chinese guy). So I guess it's a no brainer to get from doml.com

What do you reckon then? Wait for HPM-70 which I guess will cost over £35 as the EX-71's cost that anyway. Or buy a cheap adaptor without the mic on the lead?
Posted by edX
Probably can get the cheap adapter first and use them now while waiting for the HPM-70 to become available.

Think ill wait.

im having the same problem but i kinda got used to it, you would think that sony would have used there "walkman" style headphones. shame as the SE k750 has am amazing mp3 player compare tot he nokia ones, well at least the one on my 6260. they new Stereo portable handsfree HPM-70 looks good

I've just ordered one of those adapters from DOML, I'll let you know if it's any good when it arrives
Posted by Freddie42
If you're handy with a soldering iron, it wouldn't be hard to lop off the earphphones and replace them with a 3.5mm stereo jack line socket to allow you to plug in your choice of headphones...

As for the HPM-70. If you have an extra $700 to blow, buy one of the W800c's from x138 on eBay. It comes with a HPM-70.

Plainshare, you just beat me to it.
and welcome to esato.

Monday the 8th of August is when the headphone adaptor actually gets posted from the above site though
Posted by seanflynn
I can get them for £20.00 each right now!
Posted by PlainShane
Hehe, thanks for the welcome! I just discovered this site by accident and found out it has a wealth of SE information.
Posted by Coxy
Well ive just spent the last half an hour making my own adaptor. No extra costs here!!! The same as what the guy on Howard Forums did. It was a little bit dodgy but after all i dont think that if you spend say £10 on a HPM-70, that youll get a good price when you come to sell it. So DIY is the best option.

My adapter turned up from doml today, works nicely with my Sennheisers. All seems pretty sturdy
Posted by MasterEncoder
Well guys mine arrived today via air Mail From China, and I am loving it. already playing it back through my stereo! Take a look at the pics!
Posted by Hans Gruber
Straight after saying it was sturdy I pulled it out of the phone and one of the clips stayed in, not quite as well made as genuine SE stuff

Oh No !

i've got a question, if i mod the k750 headset to a 3.5 mm jack can i still use this modded headset to listen to the radio?
Posted by rabvtec
@TiMe - yep, you can - the wire still acts like an antenna.
Check out my latest mod: http://www.se-nse.com/forum/showthread.php?p=18751#post18751 - set the posts to read from 'oldest first' to get the images in the right order.

I have just bought a headphone splitter from ebay to get a spare headphone socket. But i have just opened it and there are 3 wires but they are red, white and copper, but they are meant to be copper, green and red. Which one am i supposed to solder to which part of the board. This has made me very confused. PLEASE HELP ME!

Hi
I'm considering buying one of these adaptors off ebay. Sound quality isn't an issue for me; my problem is regarding how easily it breaks. How many people have had their 'clips' come off or something? Any other prob's I should know about? How did you overcome them?
Thanks 4 any help
Y. M.

I got one of these from ebay and have had absolutely no problems with it. Sound quality is great.
