I have just set my AOL email account using IMAP on my Sony S710a, and i am also having problem receiving emails. I also get the "no new messages" has anyone found a solution for this?

Hmmmm....... I may have the configurations for AOL.
I'll have to check..... My laptop is at work. I'll get back to you on this.
I was using Earth link and now using RoadRunner and it works fine.
@Medina, I take it you have Cingular, as the S710 is exclusive to Cingular.
