See, If man evolved from monkeys anf apes why do we still have monkeys and apes????

queer aint it?

care to explain.........while swinging from branch to branch

"NOPE this is not a religious or political thread even though it may contain politically correct answers"

Don't worry thats not a new question...we have a few Monkeys and Apes on esato trying to be humans...the evolution process continues here!

Posted by Pradhika
@Paul. You say in post 1: evolved... That is past tense. No longer it continues. So....it is.

Posted by paulbang
hey i have a point ( not pint )

see why dont people ask these questions - what do you think, did the DUMB monkeys and apes not get evolved or were they the smarter ones.....

Monkey talk - "kja20ytjdfba.d;A OA F OAIFO BANNANA NABBANA NABBANA BANNANA BNABANNAB BANANABANABA ABANABANABABANNAA BANNANA "

iVE HAD IT!

Yes and one of those apes just posted the third post in this thread

I dont agree with evolution, i think its just something to keep scientists happy, they like to think they have all the answers, although it *could* be true.

Posted by paulbang
@prad - u an ape - akka I cant believe this

@vanq - dude I dont believe in it either - me believe in creation - Darvins a NUT

so anyway........I prefer apple trees as they spread out so well and I can hang out on any branch - you??

Posted by Cornholio_666
who's darvin, surely you mean darwin? i think he's right about evolution and adaptation. how could creatures and animals survive without adapting to their environment?

Posted by haynesycop
i believe in evolution

it seems very logical to me

but you never know it might be rubbish

who knows

we will never know or maybe we will

my brain hurts when i ask myself these type of questions

Posted by paulbang
I spelt it as darvin to not get confused with darwin(dows crashy os having blue screen of DEATH aaaaaa)

@miss - - tehn why do we still have apes and monkeys is the question to be answered hre

Posted by haynesycop
i don't know like someone said

was it you or someone else

maybe some species could not adapt to the environment and develop into human beings

or maybe they are not connected at all

who knows

Posted by Cornholio_666
i think it has something to do with survival of the fittest. the weakest of the species would die out and the strongest would adapt and evolve to ensure survival taking thousands of years.

Posted by paulbang
well I guess my question goes unanswered.......

Posted by Pradhika
@paul. What happens instead of among apple trees, if you end up under a roadside ring master.:-D?

what happens instead of among apple trees u end up under a road side ring master? what fits without nuts?

I blame Corneilius, damn you... you damned dirty ape!

@paul here u go:

http://www.lucidcafe.com/library/96feb/darwin.html#booksby

read it and learn ( to avoid questions like u wrote )

While evolution and adaptation may happen to some extent, I do not believe humans evolved from apes. I believe WE were created.

Posted by paulbang
I believe in creation to . . .

Just trying to show you that darwin was a nut.

Posted by whizkidd
No! He was a bolt.

Posted by carkitter
Many of Darwins assertions don't stand up to scrutiny. The only people who promote these ideas are aethists who refuse to acknowledge the existence of God (my sister for instance).

Ironicly, I went to Intermediate School (year 7/8) with a guy who looked just like an ape. He was large, as thick as two planks, had a large ape-like head and his long arms hung down like an apes when he walked. Quite freaky really...

Posted by blackspot
I think evolution/adaptation only happens when a particular species are exposed to a different environment. The apes and monkeys that we have now were probably descendants of the apes and monkeys that were stuck to an environment where they didn't have to evolve into humans. Remember, evolution is just a theory, so there are still a lot of unproven points in it though many are very much valid.

Well, the way i see it, and i dont want to baffle people with jargon or get too technical, but here goes:

Monkeys are the king of the swingers, oh
the jungle vip's.
They've reached the top, and had to stop,
and thats whats a-bothering them
ohh wooo-do-dooo, they want to be like us,
walk like us, talk like us, ooooh-oooh-ooh-oop-de-doo-de-doo-de-doo.

I hope thats helped you out.

Ooo Ooo Ooo where's me banana? Will someone come and pick this flea off my back? We evolved. We are simply apes with the power of reason and the ability to ask ourselves questions like 'why' and 'what if' and 'where?' etc. Whether, as a species, we are more 'intelligent' than other creatures is a question that is getting more difficult to answer!

There is a mystery unsolved right now about evolution; it's the mitochondrion in our cell ( although there is a theory ) but other than that everything can be explained and from what I learned (6 years of biology) it makes pretty much sense that everything elvolves, it's part of nature laws, only the strongest survives and adapts to the new environement ! Look at eskimo's, they adapted to the environement, it's part of evolution.

I just can't believe that everything on this planet is from evolution while we, humans, must have been created. Doesn't make much sense for me.

I also note that there are so much papers, so much books on so many years of work on evolution that you can't really deny it.

Posted by carkitter
Mitochondrion? You don't mean Medichlorian do you?

Posted by paulbang
If you see a group of monkeys (off esato) the only things you'll see them do is groom themselves, groom others and reproduce. See they do it more times that we.

I feel that darwin was a guy who realised that the monkeys had a conspiracy going on.

Conspiracy theory-
monkey king (not meth, he was a rabbit) wants to beat humans as he couldn't evolve to become one- how? Over populate the planet, create a majority and either have was or win the elections. Thus most politicians are monkeys in disguise- if you have doubts check for red asses or erratic grooming behaviour.

Save we save me . . . . . . Banana anyone

Posted by methylated_spirit
As the famous evolutionary theorist, Gwen Stefani, stated, this sh*it is bananas, b an an as!

How did you know i was a rabbit, did you see my poo? I thought i'd cleaned it up

she aint no hollaback girl so dont even go there

I believe in evolution. I can’t see how we were created, cos who created the creator and who created him/she/it and so on.

But saying that what did evolution start from and what evolved into that start?

Posted by Cornholio_666
@joebmc the single celled organism!

Yeah but what did that evolve from???

Posted by JK
so why are there still monkeys???

Posted by Cornholio_666
@joebmc bacteria maybe? (you know like mouldy bread)

Posted by joebmc
Because there was a split in evolution.
Maybe other ape's travelled further and something chaged?

Posted by DJcreamz
i work with apes

Posted by vanquish
@768KBR

WHY do you always put three ??? after everything you type? It's realllllyyyy annoying!

Listen, evolution is something made up. I am sorry, but i simply cannot believe it. Natural selection yes, but not the changing of species.

Posted by DJcreamz
I was always under the misguided idear it was DARWIN not DARVIN wasnt darvin a chipmunk?

HAHAHAHAAHA HAHAAHA!!!

Yes he was, he's Alvin brother!!

@ vanq

I dont know iv never counted!!!
and its 786 not 768!!! !!! !!! !!! !!! !!!

Did God create the dinosaurs? Why are they not in the old testament. Why didn't Noah save a couple of Pterodactyls and a pair of sauropods in the ark?

Yeah but what did that evolve from???

From the amino acid (babelfish) which they where discovered in space recently, so, yes, the theory of life brought by a meteor is possible.

Posted by paulbang
@goldenface
not a religious thread don't want it locked you see.
But getting back to the point, noah was guided by God to save those animals and hopefully you will be guided to by HIM to understand what the scriptures say

Posted by goldenface
Point taken. I am wholly evolutionist in my views. I find it quite easy to understand. Darwin's Origin of Species caused quite a storm and still does today. I simply can't see the creationist arguement.

So what did the amino acid (babelfish) evolve from (this can go on and on and on )

Posted by Cornholio_666
bacteria, which forms on things that are rotting

Posted by joebmc
And bacteria evolved from???

Posted by Cornholio_666
it didn't evolve it was formed

Posted by amd1129
Bctria evolved 4m highly complex molecules which had the ability to resemble themselves sometimes they resembled something different and natural selection continued dat ends it :-D:-D

Posted by JK
what about other primates?

Posted by goldenface
Like Gibbons, babboons etc? They all evolved at the same time, just under different conditions.
