t68i, vodafone connectme, bluetooth and problems

Hello,

Any help out there? I'm using a T68i, a TDK bluetooth PCMCIA card and vodafone ConnectMe to try to connect my laptop to GPRS.

Whatever I do, ConnectMe gets the PDP context then drops the connection due to "Hardware failure".

The modem and ConnectMe log files show some commands sent then the connection is dropped. The phone's serial port is left open.

Sorry can't be much use here, but I'm having the same problems with the ConnectMe software, I'm using IR rather than bluetooth. For me it fails then completely fails to connect for about 5 minutes - guess there must be a timeout on the serial connection. I'm still battling with it.

Does anyone else know of a way to by pass the ConnectMe software on Vodafone? Doing it manually I get connected but never get a DNS server
