HBH-662 - Did I lose $100?

I bought Akono HBH-662 for my K750i thinking that it is the most compatible headset for my mobile since both are Sony!!
I paired the headset and mobile as instructed. I called a friend using my headset, everything went fine. I'm a happy satisfied guy. But couple of minutes, I received a call and it didn't show on the headset. Oops, what's wrong? After several tests, I noticed that the headset is disconnecting after couple of minutes. I went through all Bluetooth forums to find out that my problem might be solved if I update my K750i firmware on Sony Ericsson site. Great, I did the update to the new firmware, but the problem is still there.
The big question now, did I lose the 100 bucks I paid for the headset, especially that I bought during a business trip outside my home country?
Anybody faced the same problem?
Anybody solved the problem?

What firmware version is your K750i running (the first post in this thread describes how to check the firmware version)?
If you are running the first release (R1A) then you wil need a firmware update for the K750i to work properly with the HBH-662.

I'm running the latest R1L firmware on my K750i and have no issues with the HBH-662 whatsoever.

I have R1L002 Firmware. It is the latest one as I understood

Now that you've done the FW upgrade, delete the 662 from the phone's paired devices list.

Put the 662 in pairing mode and pair the phone to the headset again.

I've tried this with my HBH-660 and I haven't experienced problems with it since.
