I keep trying to revamp his topic here but knowbodys bothered that it's a over a year since his accidental death, his daughter is so much like him!!!

Firmware branding on most models
Sometimes a physical telstra brand
Vodafone:
Startup & Shutdown images on some models
firmware branding on some models, fewer than telstra
Physical brand, more than telstra
Optus:
Startup & Shutdown images on allmost every model
firmware branding on some models about the same as voda
Barley ever see a physical brand
3:
startup & shutdown
heavy firmware branding
physical branding is not really thier thing
Then you got the unknown carriers like revtell, savvytell, soul, dodo etc I don't know about them.

I almost never buy branded phones but I don't mind the latest Telstra ones as they actually have useful stuff like Foxtel and the ability to find stuff near my current location etc

Virgin are going to have the S500i avaiable for $199 soon. Within two weeks I guess, and they don't brand AFAIK.
Telstra is going to have the W810i for $299. Much too late IMO.
Optus and Vodafone are going to have the K800i for $299.
And Vodafone will have the W880i with a 2GB memory stick for $399.

The K800 for $299 that is also tempting although the W880i is a little high in my opinion.
Now as for those new telstra NexG phones i don't mind the branding either although the foxtel costs an extra 12 a month dosn't it ? The only problem with most of the phones is the design they horrible flip ones i mean....awful

for those wondering, Telstra and Optus do disable flash themes, and they just have their network icons on the phones....
My brothers w850 which is voda branded, came with 1 flash theme. Too bad about the other branding....

GUES WHAT !! I discovered on my holiday that optus and voda will have W910 in the next week (we will see how true that is).
Also K800 will pe available for $299 on vodafone pre-paid.
Just got back half an hour ago lol.
BTW don't shop at optus world they charge a FORUTNE eg HPM 70's for $59.95 OMG, went to a place around the corner and HPM 70's $30 (i got a pair lol)

Ya in the optus store they have a black one as does voda listed as "coming soon in voda" and "mid month" in optus. I didnt see the red W910 that allphones have/getting nor did they say anything all i saw was the black one, well if its true its good news.
BTW voda are gettting Z320 in the blue colour.
