Found this on ebay

looks like you can plug in your usb cable and use the flash drive to play your music through the car stereo with the FM modulator.
good idea but a pain if you have 1gb of memory as the gadget only reads the flash drive but I don't think it will let you browse the tracks only skip them individually....with over 45 albums on my phone it make take a while to find the track I want.
but if you only have a comple of albums is max MP3 format then you could have some fun.

what you want is simpler..an fm modulator that plugs into a standard audio out jack. That way you pipe the audio output of your phone direct to the modulator. You control song selection from the phone as normal.
Something like this: http://catalog.belkin.com/IWC[....]oot%2FiPodAccessories%2Fct_Id>

This is what you want(sort of).

Only problem is you need the HCA-60 car kit as well, so if you only want it to play music maybe a bit expensive.

haha even better!
At the moment I listen to tracks on an HBM30 (the se bluetooth handsfree combined mp3 player) plugged into the modulator and playing through the car stereo. When a call comes in, the BT handsfree mutes the mp3 player and I answer the call. The hbm30 mike pics up my voice, the car stereo plays the callers voice, and I never have to touch my phone or car stereo.
The only downside is the hbm30 can only take up to 128MB memory card.

Isn't technology great!!
Tonight when I get home I am going to chop up a spare k750i handsfree and add a 3.5mm female connector to make an MMC-60 equivalent so I can just plug in my FM Modulator (and any other 3.5mm jack audio accessory) to the modified headset and I can then browse the MP3s with the phone.
The first post was something I found that is usefull for some folks as it only requires the standard usb cable, and it should charge the phone too.

hehe, this thread seems to be merging with this one: http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=71998

Made up the cable last night, used the wifes headset as she doesn't use it. Just cut off the ear pieces, changed the microphone bit so the 2 hearpiece wires came out the same end, soldered in the 3.5mm female connector.
I can now connect to my FM modulator in 1 car and use the tape adapter from my old personal CD player in the other car.
Excellent and it only took about 5 minutes.
I have purchased a replacement headset from Ebay to replace the wifes one. Cost a tenner for an original unused.

Wow! Great ideas guys. Love those FM modulators.

Just had to buy a new modulator (£3.99 form Ebay) that has an adjustable frequency as some stupid person has now started up a new radio station on the 107.7 mhz that my modultor is set at.... How inconsiderate!!
I only found out when I got near my work (40 miles from my home) as the new station is for that side of the country.

How rude!
My incar modulator is tuneable and my handheld belkin modulator has a four way selector, and all positions are relatively clear of broadcasts where I live.
The tuneable fm modulator is very useful when driving in country areas.

Nice Idea, one problem: I actually ordered a FM transmitter for my K750i before I reaslised this:
Modulator comes with onle USB port and 1 35mm Audio jack. We've now solved the problem of getting the phone to plug into the Audio jack with the HPM-70 headset which includes the adapter, and any of the cheapo 35mm adapters available on Ebay. But, pluggining one of those in means you can no longer use the USB cable for charging, which seems a real shame especially for long trips. The idea of playing music for a few hours then swapping cables and charging for a few hours isn't appealing at all. There are only two work arounds that I can think of: Making a hideous modification to a 35mm adapter and USB cable so both plug into the phone at the same time. I have no idea how this would be possible, if anyone has done it or has ideas please post.
The other, more viable solution is to connect a Bluetooth Audio adapter to plug into the 35mm audio jack on the FM Transmitter. Something like the HBM-30, although I'm not actually sure if that can play music from the phone. Still there are 3rd party adapters which do it.
The only problem with this is, there's a big debate in this thread: http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=101790 as to whether stereo can be transmitted from the K750i via bluetooth.
Knowing if the HBM-30 can play stereo directly from the K750i (not its own memory) would solve both these problems, so if anyone knows please post!

very sorry to say, but the hbm-30 doesn't play music from the phone, only it's own music. Also, the K750 doesn't support stereo audio profile via bluetooth. The Bluetooth stereo audio profile is still pretty rare in phones.
However, the HBM-30 works well in that it is a headset for the phone, so if you use it's own music and plug it into the fm transmitter, the music is muted (and therefore the car stereo) when a call comes in (if BT connected to the phone as a headset). The mike is in the unit, so you have to hold the HBM-30 to your mouth to speak (or have it clipped to your collar).
Good news is, you can get a car charger for the K750 that has a pass through port so you can plug the car charger fast port connector into the phone, and plug a handsfree or music adapter into the back of the car charger connector.
Which is all well and good for the car, but I haven't found such a thing in a standard mains power charger...

There to get the car charger?
Posted by Iondah
That is terrible. For such a music oriented phone, who would not want to use bluetooth stereo?!! A2DP should be included. Maybe in a later firmware release?
Where can you get this car charger with pass-through port??
Is there USB cable with pass-though? this would be better for FM transmitter.

very few phones (if any) use the stereo bluetooth profile. It'll come, but it's certainly not a criticism of SE that the W800 has no stereo profile.
That's why they supplied a handsfree that you can plug your own headset into (or stereo/fm modulator). Bluetooth A2DP is no doubt still expensive to implement.
The pass through charger I got from a vodafone store in vodafone packaging. Maybe your local vodafone store will have it also?

For my work I test A2DP stuff. On my site you can find a complete and up to date list of all the phones and devices witch are compatible with A2DP (hi-fi stereo bluetooth).
