Unable to format memory card

Cant format memory card.Evry time i try to format phone says operation failed. My phone is n6230. Plz help

format mem in a camera thats sd and mm cards then you shud be able to format in your phone

What could be the reason why i am not able to format mem card in phone ? Is its file system got corupted ? ;-(

Or could be your phone's software. If you can do it in you computer and your camera and not your phone, then your phone might be faulty or has a bug.

Repeated attempts to format the card through phones software , i am able to format it .
