unbranded k750i on vodafone

Im having a problem getting regular access to vodafone live through gprs on my phone.

If I havnt used my phone for a while, I can quite easily get online and visit the vodafone live page, it loads successfully etc. If I then disconnect and return to the standby screen, an a minute later try to connect and visit the vodafone live page again, I get "Communication failure. Try again or contact your operator for support". The thing is that I can visit other pages fine, so as far as I can tell, my settings are OK so im kind of lost as to what the problem could be.
